David Hansen has been fascinated by the diversity and scope of the wine world since his time in college. His time earning a degree in Geography (University of North Texas, B.A., 1995) helped him to understand the importance of location — the fact that so much of what makes things interesting and unique is where they are located in the world.

David previously spent a year as Wine Lead for a Central Market store in Texas, assisting consumers with wine recommendations, teaching introductory wine appreciation classes, and helping to diversify the store’s wine selections.

David seeks out wines of high value and quality. He holds the Level 3 Award (Advanced) from the Wine & Spirts Education Trust, as well as the Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) designation from the Society of Wine Educators.
